Moddi - Moonchild
On October 15th, my favorite Norwegian singer-songwriter Moddi will drop his very first international release in UK and Germany via Impeller Records, and only a couple of days ago the EP was also put out for free download over at his bandcamp.
The EP features the lovely track Rubbles taken off his debut album Floriography back in February (in my opinion, one of the best records of 2010) along with two exclusive tracks, one that was previously only available on the vinyl. With beautiful, Björk-like vocals and melancholic tunes that belongs to the ocean and mountains of northern Norway, Moddi makes me forget about time itself. And that, my friends, is the reason why he’s among my top 5 favorite musicians.
Also, make sure to check out Moddi’s recent mixtape entitled Moddimiks, featuring both Einar Stray and Therese Aune whom we recently also covered on our own mixtape, in addition to Moddi himself.
