Is this the triumph of humanity? That God says “have dominion” over the earth and we maintain that it can be translated “f*** it up as you choose.” We apocalyptic fatalists can rejoice now that we have been proven right…”this world is not my home, I’m just a-passin through.” The world is all just going to be destroyed one day. Well, it appears that day has come. But is it by the will of God or the will of humankind? We are progenitors of our hopelessness.
